My Approach to Therapy
I have a strong belief that people have what's necessary for well being inside them- despite this seeming inaccessible at the start. Understanding what leads them away from their own capacity for well being and recovery (from both an individual and a systemic perspective) often involves relating differently, and will often be the focus of therapy: what do you believe about the relationship to yourself, to others, and to the world? Being seen and understood in nuance for the struggle you've endured, making meaning of your internal experience, and cultivating a loving presence for yourself are all experiences I endeavor to create with you while working together.
