Carter is a Licensed Social Work Candidate in Colorado and a Licensed Master of Social Work in the state of Arizona. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders as well as many other mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem, substance use, and body image. She has experience working with trauma related disorders, and trainings in DBT, CBT, ACT and holistic modalities. She states, "I have additional experience within my own eating disorder recovery which has offered me a unique perspective in treating those with their own Eating Disorders."
